Trent D. Brooks
Trent D. Brooks, co-founder of Sierra Capital Partners,
is committed to enhancing the way multifamily Borrowers access mortgage
capital. Trent shares responsibility for the lending activities of the
company in addition to building relationship-based connections between
apartment owners and competitive capital markets. His comprehensive knowledge
of the multifamily finance industry combined with proven skills in loan
structuring and negotiations provides a significant benefit for West Coast
Borrowers.
Trent has over 25 years of multifamily lending experience. Prior to co-founding
Sierra Capital, Trent served as President and Chief Credit Officer of
Bankers Mutual, a California based multifamily lender specializing in
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae D.U.S. multifamily financing with over $3.5 billion
in servicing assets. Trent served as Chairman of the Executive Committee
and was ultimately responsible for all operational functions of the company, including
Business Development, Underwriting, Closing, Legal, Servicing and Asset
Management.
Trent has served twice as Chair of the Freddie Mac Program Plus Advisory Council;
Chair of the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council and as a Member of the MBA Multifamily
Steering Committee. He is currently a member of Freddie Mac's 2007-2008 Advisory Council.
Trent received his Economics Degree from Wittenberg University, and is
the proud father of four children. Recreational interests include travel,
skiing, golf, fishing and varied outdoor activities in the Eastern Sierra.
Trent is also active in various community service and non-profit charitable
organizations including Heifer International and W.I.N.
Bryan L. Frazier is co-founder of Sierra Capital Partners
and is committed to enhancing the way apartment owners access mortgage
capital. Bryan shares responsibility for the relationship management and
mortgage lending activities of the Company. His proven track record in
achieving results combined with his extensive knowledge of debt structuring
and negotiation provides significant benefits to West Coast multifamily
owners.
Bryan has over 21 years of multifamily lending experience. Prior to co-founding
Sierra Capital, Bryan served as President of the Irvine Division of
Berkshire Mortgage Finance, a national multifamily lender specializing
in GSE/Multifamily Lending. Bryan was responsible for all operational
functions of the division, which included Origination, Underwriting,
Closing, Legal and shared responsibilities with Asset Management. Prior
to his responsibilities as President, Bryan was Executive Vice President
of Bankers Mutual, a leading West Coast mortgage banking firm specializing
in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Multifamily Financing. Bryan was responsible
for all Origination activities and served as a member of the Executive
Committee and Strategic Planning Committee.
Bryan has served on the Freddie Mac Program Plus Advisory Council and
the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council in addition to being part of the Board
of Directors for the National Multi-Housing Council.
Bryan is married with three children and has a Bachelor of Science degree
from Stanford University. He enjoys spending time with his family, in
particular the kids’ school and sporting activities. Other interests
include mountain biking, skiing, offshore fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
